Not only the United States, but also Canada, Mexico, Central America,
Haiti, Dom. Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico (and the rest of the Caribbean)
Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador and I believe Peru...
All of these areas use the NTSC method of TV transmission/reception.
