Another thought on "quack, quack"

        Come to think of it, the Imus quack-quack time check thing may go
back such a long way that it originally was him making fun of WABC with its
"chime time" gong, which may still have been used then. Imus's quack is one
of the things left from his earliest days in NY, if I recall. You know,
back when he played music and actually was funny (IMNSHO, of course).
