During our OH visit this summer, my bride & I (7 yrs. and counting)
visited a local drive in theater where they still use the window
speakers!  (Star Wars prequel).  I asked the manager before the film
about switching to an RF system and he said he had enough salvage
stuff from defunct drive-ins around the US that he is well stocked to
keep up.  Sure, the audio is 3k on a good day, but that's the price
you pay for Americana (popcorn additional).
