He was  the GM of the old channel 7 during the early to mid 70s, as I 
recall, and in 1982 was hired by channel 5.

Hey do any of you recall Sy Yanoff?  He was GM at WBZ-TV for about 10 years 
and then went over to channel 7... or how about owners and CEO's like David 
Mugar?

And would you agree that in radio, Jerry Williams (like him or not) became 
very influential in the talk show genre?
