Thanks for the compliment, Kevin. Actually there's a double-hop 15 kHz
tie-line (loop) from Hadlock, to WPOR's studios, then on to
WGAN/WMGX/WYNZ/WZAN/WBAE's megaplex, and there's ISDN there, too. My guess
is that you're primarily complaining about their road-game quality, which is
indeed, on a POTS line, just like all of the other minor league teams. I've
been after them for three years to purchase a Comrex Hotline (or something
similar), but no go. The Seadogs (and Pirates, for that matter) maintain
their own stadium equipment. They use the standard Zercom stuff that all of
the sports teams seem to favor in the minors.
I installed an ISDN line there when Howie Carr came up (on WGAN's tab), but
the Seadogs have absolutely no inclination towards using it.
