Tragedy & Co-incidence

Today, the Atlanta tragedy was, of course, the
lead story on WBZ.  After wading through the
gory details and interviews with neighbors,
the subject turned to the suspect's passion
for "day trading" and its correlation to
compulsive gambling.  Not more than 5 minutes
later, there's an ad for on-line trading that starts out:

(warning: I'm paraphrasing here!)

"The streets are empty. No kids playing.  People
hiding inside their houses - obscenely wealthy.
All this happened since 'day trading' came to town"
