Leo Egan Re: Boston Network Radio Affiliations: 1950's and 1960's.



Egan came to Boston from Buffalo and then recommended his friend Jim Britt
for the Red Sox/Braves job....

being in management in the late 60's he became the Red Sox announcer for a
couple of weeks when AFTRA honored an IBEW strike at Channel 5/WHDH. His
color person was "Spike" who was a legend on the North Shore.

I believe he is still on the planet, living on the Cape. Maybe Donna could
interview him?
