Interesting tropospheric

June seems to be the big month for weird stuff getting
through. I my own experience, both in northern, and
central Maine, the humid air that comes every June
will bring in FM's from far, far away.

On saturday night, I experienced a pleasant surprise.
Surfing on my TV set, I was able to pick up CHSJ-TV,
out of Saint John, NB, thus was able to watch the NHL
game. Channel 2(Bangor, Normally strong) did not come
in at all. By Sunday, all was back to normal. I'm
praying for another magic signal for the game tonight
! :-)

There could be more stuff happening in the lower TV
band, as solar activity is reported to be opening up
the 50Mhz Ham band on occaision.
