I have neither a '56 nor a '54 handy, but a glance at the 1955 Radio
Annual shows Smilin' Vic with an even bolder claim: "WVDA give you more
news and commentary than any TWO Boston stations combined and is the
only station in the nation broadcasting ONLY news in the early morning,
6:00-8:30 A.M."
