Re: JJ Jeffrey

  Hi Steve,
He is no longer doing the extra 3 hours which was voice tracked! Being an
owner
and doing an airshift is a tough juggling act to continue long term. What
was the most
amazing was how well he sounded doing late 90's music, it was like he was
right into
the music back into the RKO days! He was able to up sell every song knowing
where all
the post points were.(yes, I realize automation helps, but there is a point
were only you
can deliver the goods of each break to make it sound right, and he has it
down to a
science)!

Is he still doing an airshift, too? When the station first returned to Top
40 a couple years ago he was rumored to be doing mid-days (voicetracked?),
but the day I was in Portland someone else (who didn't identify himself
once in 3 hours) was doing mid-days.
