I have not gone thru a complete scan, but checking every 6 weeks apart on
the WABC lists from 67-68, no sign of Van....

White Rabbit, Light My Fire no problem, so either it was banned from WABC
 and then probably WLS) or it just didn't play well in NY. Be curious if
WMCA played it.

I heard this 10-15 years ago, but at the time it was claimed that Brown Eye
Girl was the most played song in the history of WBCN.
