Holy cow! Scooter goes FM!

        An e-mail newsletter at Wesleyan University said on Thursday that
Phil Rizzuto will broadcast the school's college baseball game--at home vs.
Williams--this Saturday at 1 p.m. over the student station, WESU, 88.1. His
granddaughter is a Wesleyan student and they got him as part of a hype
weekend courting admitted students. The newsletter mentions that he retired
in 1996 after 40 years as a Yankees' broadcaster. The station, 1 or 1.5 kW,
goes north pretty good, maybe OK into the Springfield area, but no so good
toward New Haven or anywhere else except Hartford.
