WRKO was very scripted. It was interesting when something went wrong & the
jock actually had to ad-lib...some pulled it off well, others sounded lost.
Somewhere I have a tape of Dale Dorman trying to fill some dead air when a
cart was uncued or something....very obvious he was at a bit of a loss for
words. (and no, this is not the aircheck that's in circulation where one
turntable has a bad stylus)..I just happened to have been rolling tape when
this one happened.
