Not so. As WBOS, they ran "Music Theatre," a beautiful music format,
for some of the time on weekday afternoons. This grew to most of the
day when WBOS-FM signed on in 1960, with three or four hours of
brokered time in the evening on AM only, while Music Theatre
continued on FM. Saturdays were the same. Sundays were all brokered
time on AM until 10:00 PM, while Music Theatre continued on FM.
