I love Dave Breen on Eagle 937. He sounds like he enjoys the music and would have fit the mold for 68 RKO in the music days. I also like Gregg Daniels on Mix 985 for his timing and banter with callers. I still like today's top 40, but no one at Kiss has that something extra (Uncle Dale aside). Does anybody remember JJ Jeffrey from WRKO? He is on WJBQ in Portland, Maine doing current top 40. Jocks should take lessons from JJ.

Curious about something. Much of the discussion on the list
(self-included) is about what is wrong with Boston radio. How about
'naming names' of jock talent out there that is getting it done, in
spite of everything the industry seems to be doing to make that a very
difficult thing to do.....
Just a few, IMHO, to seed the list... Carolyn Cruze (sp) middays at
WKLB, Chuck Igo (wknds. at WROR/WKLB), Dick Pleasants, Folk
Heritage/WGBH, Dan Justin at WROR, JJ at 96.9 (also WROR, defining
adaptability!); heading north, Jack Baldwin at WHOB Nashua. There are
others! ...Anyone? ...Beuller? ...Anyone?
