i beg to differ: when leykis was on 10-2pm on wrko, he did a great show. he
mixed hard-hitting news and political issues with humor and guests. he kept
after clinton, gave indepth analysis on nafta, the stock market, etc. in an
intelligent and often rare, left of center point of view. we also can't forget
that leykis beat limboob in his time slot in his first book! not only that,
but it was surely better than the pathetic howie carr/victoria jones show that
was virtually unlistenable (carr, even with all his low grade stuff is much
better now, imho). there wasn't a day when i wasn't listening to leykis then
and the content and quality of his show on wrko back then is missed.
