WJAR-TV turns 50

WJAR 10 in Providence ( www.wjar.com ) is celebrating it's 50th anniversary
in 1999, and unlike the two Boston stations that hit 50 last year, they
actually are doing something about it. I didn't expect much from Channel 7,
but I still consider it shameful that Channel 4 did not make a bigger deal
out of it.

Of course if Mel gets NBC, then he can switch 4 back to NBC and they can use
all the network stuff again. :)
