"Greaseman" fired for racial remark

Howie Carr just mentioned that a "shock-jock" 
in Washington,DC named "the Greaseman" has been fired for a remark he
made about R&B singer Lauryn Hill. After playing some of her music,
"the Greaseman" apparently said something like "now we see why they
get dragged" (a reference to the brutal death of James Byrd, a black
man, by John King, who has just been sentenced to death for the crime).

The ABC Radio website says that "the Greaseman"
(real name Doug Tractman) is suspended indefinitely,
but Howie Carr has said that Tractman has been fired
outright.
