The dumbing down of the news

I noticed another example of the dumbing down of radio news last 
Friday.  Reporting that King Hussein was flying back to Jordan to die, 
the reporter on WCRB kept referring to him as "Mr. Hussein."  

I suppse next they'll refer to the Pope as "Mr. John Paul."

Grumble Grumble!
