RE: WLLH Sold

I just spoke to Tammy, long time receptionist at WLLH. She said that the staff was informed yesterday
and that the takeover takes effect including full staff layoffs on April 1, 1999.
The atmosphere is very depressed according to Tammy. She says that Arnold Lerner and the other
owners had no intention to sell, but the figure offered was just too good to pass up.

The following is from our Lowell Correspondent: Mark Watson:

The Lowell Sun today reported that Tuesday, principals Arnold
Lerner, Don Fitzgibbons and Don (Ron?) Frizell agreed to sell
WLLH to Mega Communications (WNFT & WBPS) for $936,000.
The format is expected to change to Spanish/Latin Dance Music
in 6 to 8 weeks. At this point in time, no new home for the
Lowell Spinners broadcasts has been announced.

WCAP had "no comment".

More details as they become available.
