Ok now I'm speaking as a parent of a 6 year old son.

What possible service was rendered by breaking in to Mickey's Christmas
Carol to say bombing in Iraq was still going on....they were not reporting
the first strike, simply an update.

Now when you are running a one time special like Mickey Christmas Carol
you have very young children watching that are not normally expose to news
reports like this.

Now the networks wonder why their viewer share keeps dropping.....my wife
vows NEVER to watch a childern's special on broadcast TV again.
