Re: Fwd: "WBZ-FM 106.7FM"

I enjoyed WBZ-FM in the early/mid 70's when Clark Schmidt and Ken Shelton
ran the whole deal. I hated the fact that there was no personality on the
station, and that they tended to repeat a lot. I loved hearing single
releases from the lower reaches of the Billboard charts. I also loved
hearing what Clark and Captain Ken would do to try to make the station
sound "live." (Never with very much success, but it was fun anyway.)

My favorite thing was "The Music Show" which was probably a great
granddaddy to "Bedtime Magic," but with more cutting-edge (at the time) and
album-oriented music. This, too, was automated. It was amusing to hear
Clark talk back what he had just played, even though that set of songs
would not be played for another 20 minutes.

By the way, does anyone know what Ken Shelton is doing these days?
