This is a shocking atrocity--a sort of Kristillnacht in which commercial
interests have turned openly violent in their search for a final solution
for eradicating the American song from public spaces and, ultimately from
our consciousness. Classical is next (or was it first?). It's time that we,
as a nation, develop a strategy for using the airwaves to preserve our
culture before it's too late.

Steve, with all due respect, to compare the loss of WQEW and its current
format to kristillnacht is out of line.
I believe that while the "condensing" of corparate America bears concern, to
compare it to what the Nazis did to Jews in Germany from '38-'45 is
hyperbole at its worse.
God, you liberals on this RADIO BB (I remind you) can't resist to throw your
political viewpoints into every argument. Please specify the so-called
"violence" that corporate America has used in this instance...How many WQEW
staffers died in this deal? (literally, not figuratively)
PS: Buy 'QEW if you don't like what's happening!
