For the purposes of 'equal time' on the subject of automation, there are
definite upsides, IMO. It seems that there is more of a trend to sweeping
with less talk. A good thing if you like music and have heard _every_
possible funny talk-up possible in seven to twelve seconds. There are more
dayparts for AMers with music representing your product versus leased time
(ex: WLLH can run their MOYL eves. and overnights versus 'alternative
ethnic' enjoyment. Good fdbk. around town about that.) More consistency
with the ability to truly fine tune the mix, from a PD/MD perspective. Live
assist is always an option for those dayparts when you need live presence
and can (dare I say it) trust the talent.
