It was an interesting discussion today about how some radio personalities
try to compete by being increasingly outrageous. OK, I understand about
Rush Limbaugh. But why isn't there anyone being outrageous in a left-wing
way? Is corporate America supressing the more threatening forms of
outrageous behavior?
OTOH, maybe it's just that all the left-wing ways people used to be
outrageous aren't outrageous any more. Back in the mid-1960s, President
Case of Boston University found it necessary to apologize publicly when
the student newspaper called for the impeachment of President Johnson.
