Listening during the using 5-9AM WGIR 610 news period, I noticed several
new "jingles", and constant mention of the WGIR action news network. I
didn't have my coffee yet, so the word "network" didn't dawn on me meaning
more than one station.>>

John(or anyone else out there that knows!),
I just tuned to WGIR-Am about 4:04:30 this afternoon and heard news, but it
didn't sound like ABC news(which normally has a :30 spot there). I though the
announcer said NBC news, but I might be mistaken. Is their still a NBC news
and if there is, did Capstar switch them over from ABC. I personally like the
ABC news as it more lively with sound effects and humor, plus good
personalities for news readers. I am curious to find out whether I just heard
wrong or if they truly did switch over.
