Perhaps it is an atmospheric condition that the engineering
department here can say more about. Tonight, 9/19, around 11 p.m., I was
getting bad reception of some of the usual FM stations in central
Connecticut. In Meriden, WMAS-FM was garbage, where it's usually more than
solid. WEBE-FM, also usually more than solid, suddenly dropped out to
battle back and forth with another signal. I didn't get another ID,
although I suppose it was WXKS-FM coming in. And I was not amused, because
it meant I missed hearing "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel," by Tavares, on
WEBE's 70s' show. The only worse thing could be if that was the front half
of a double-play with "Can't Get Enough of Your Love" by Barry White and I
missed that, too.
