Re: School Stations - ON/OFF

WICN is not a school station at all.  Hasn't been since the 1970s
(originally affiliated with both Holy Cross and WPI, had studio's at each
school). It is however largely volunteer staffed, however in the last couple
years has gone to a consultant orientated format(read typical NPR Jazz,
Classical, and NPR news .. snoooorrrreeee) after canning all its ethnic and
non-yuppie programming.  WICN is licensed to WICN Public Radio Inc..
