Most of the Albany-area stations that aren't on automation announced #62
very soon after it happened.

My guess is that this was less a public service than whoever was working
watching the game... and my guess is that if the game was only on cable
rather than on over-the-air, we would have had less in the way of
announcements. :) This market isn't much better than most in the public
service area.
