CBC Radio and Plane Crash Coverage

Late Wednesday night (Thursday morning), CBA-1070 in Moncton (and
apparanttly, other
CBC radio stations in the Maritimes) pre-empted "CBC Overnight" to carry
the audio
portion of Newsworld's (the CBC-owned Canadian cable/satellite news
network)
coverage of the aftermath of the Swissair crash. This was still on the
air at 2:45
 A.M. (EDT) when I finally fell asleep.
