In case anyone's wondering about the "dead dog...
ponderous!" line: for those who didn't know, a group
of media satirists called Negativland put out a CD
single called "U2" around 1991. They got sued by
Island records for using bits of U2 songs and for
supposedly making the packaging look like a U2
record. Also, the single had Casey Kasem outtakes
where he was swearing a blue streak, trying to
dedicate a song to a dead dog named Snuggles.
The single was taken off the market and could be
re-released except for one thing--they'd be sued by
Kasem if they did. Kasem says he's all for free
speech, but apparently putting out a CD with him
using the F- word all over the place isn't OK. Negativland has since
put out a book/CD, "Fair
Use" about the incident.

"Negativfanboyland")
