According to All Access, it's now official. Entercom has purchased ALL the
CBS/ARS "leftover" stations, WAAF, WEGQ, WEEI, WRKO and WWTM for $140 million.
WNFT, which is currently held in a separate trust, was not part of the deal.
In a separate transaction, CBS beefs up it's roster in Tampa by buying WYUU
and WLLD from Entercom for $75 million. We'll have to see if any format
changes are in the works before the fall book starts. I heard the night host
on WWTM talking about the sale and hoping he will still have a job last night.
