Usually, when a station starts to have ratings success, or a couple of years,
whichever comes last.  It takes awhile for the average listener to grasp a new
station/format/calls/frequency.  I'd be willing to bet there are a bunch of
listeners that....
Still think 105.7 is the home of WVBF
Still think 105.7 is the home of WCLB/WKLB
Still think "WROR" is on 98.5
Still think "WROR" is AC
Most people simply don't put that much thought into what station they listen
to.  You have to continually drive it home to them if you want to keep them as
P-1 listeners.  Plus, how many people want to listen to an "old and
deteriorating" station?  (oops, sorry--I forgot there are ODS listeners on
this list :))
