Bruce Schwoegler

I saw in today's Boston Globe TV column that WBZ-TV 4 was expected to
announce today that longtime CH 4 meteorologist Bruce Schwoegler is being
replaced on the evening newscasts by morning meteorologist Ed Carroll.Can
anyone confirm/deny if this indeed took place?Barry Burbank has been on the
evening newscasts yesterday and tonight,with no mention of him "filling in
for Bruce".Is this the beginning of "Uncle Mel's Housecleaning"?
Personally:if this is indeed true,it's a shame.Bruce has been IMHO a hard
worker and always presented himself on air very professionally all these
years.Plus he has also presented many educational reports on the air about
how various weather events occur,which you really don't see any of the
other Boston station's meteorologists do at all,or very rarely.
