UPN Must mean Cheap in some obscure foreign language!

If you missed it, UPN/Viacom O & O WTOG-44 in Tampa Bay last week
eliminated it's local news department, which had been started by a
previous owner.

I wonder if WSBK will eliminate the nightly newscast produced for it by
New England Cable News for the same reason.

And, again to save $$$, I wonder if WSBK will dump Dave Shea and
Andy Brickley for it's Bruins games and have a simulcast with WBZ
radio's Bobs (Neumirier and Beers). WSBK would have to pay Numie and
Beers SOMETHING for the simulcast, but only a small fraction of
what they'd have to pay Shea and Brickley.

Remember, WSBK dropped out of the bidding to renew "Seinfeld" reruns,
and also dropped-out of the bidding to renew the Celtics.
