yes, those were the days... (WCOZ existed before it had those call letters--
are you referring to EVERY incarnation it had since its birth?  Most of the
FMs in the early days-- the 1940s-- simulcasted their AM part of the time or
ran classical music.  There were some exceptions, such as the late great
John Shepard's W1XOJ which even had its own news staff as early as 1939...)
