The ReelRadio Top 40 Radio collection (http://www.reelradio.com) reports
that longtime KHJ, Los Angeles morning host Robert W. Morgan died of lung
cancer on Friday. More from the ReelRadio site:
"Robert W. Morgan lost his courageous battle
with lung cancer at 10:05 PM on Friday, May
22, 1998, at Encino-Tarzana Regional Medical
Center, but not before fulfilling his dream of
attending his daughter's graduation at Smith
College this past Sunday. Robert is survived by
his wife Shelley, daughter Susanna and brother
Art Jr. He was 60 years old. Funeral services will be private.
Donations may be made in his name to THE ROBERT W.
MORGAN CANCER AWARENESS FUND, 19528 Ventura
Boulevard, Suite 603, Tarzana, CA 91356."
He was certainly a professional DJ, the BEST of morning hosts, and will be
deeply missed.
