AM night reception...

Hello to all,

Its good to be back on-list. 

If you've noticed that reception of distant AM stations last 
night and tonight (Monday midnight) are weak or fading, it's because 
the ionosphere and mag. field are taking a beating from strong 
outburts from the sun over the past 24 hrs. or so. Unsettled conditions
are predicted by Boulder to last thru May 5. 

Of course, our Boston and other local stations will have generally
less interfering competition during these periods at night.
