Actually it wouldn't make sense for them to go after Magic's #s because Magic is
their sister station.  Greater Boston is making good advertising dollars at
Tragic 106.7.  Whey would they want to cripple it.

In other markets the Smooth Jazz format has done well.  In Boston, it was always
programmed too close to the Magic format to achieve its own niche audience.

The new PD, Shirley Maldonado, comes from WLVE (Love 94) in Miami.  The station
has a great "Smooth Jazz" sound and some respectability in the market.  She
seems to be pushing the right buttons.
