They were squabbling from day one; mostly because of Marj's liberal policies.
But other issues like her smoking in the studio, the on-air feud over issues
and such. I remember at one point, PD Straley called a on-air stafff meeting
to put a halt to the on-air feuding stating that the station should be working
as a team. When that happened, both Howie and Marj bit their tongues and the
board ops immediately hung up on anyone who wanted to make a comment about the
other on their shows.
Howie's recent column about Marj's Congressional run has more to do with being
a prankster then actually hurting her; she doesn't live in the damn district
yet since yes is out of work, she feels she is owed the seat.
I should note that I too am considering running for the open Congressional
seat and have taken out signature papers. I am collecting signatures currently
and will be running as an Independent. Repeal of the radio ownership
provisions in the Telecom Bill will be a major issue.
