WJDF's Owners Honored

The owners of WJDF (97.3 Orange), Jay, Donn and Fred Deane,  were
honored last week as the Orange citizens of the month for their
community service work with WJDF.  Without going into details, it
suffices to say that WJDF is involved with nearly every activity in the
Orange/Athol area.  Considering the limited signal they posses on 97.3,
they do an incredible job... this without a news department, or network
affiliation of any kind.

Any of you owners out there listening (excluding you, Bob!!!!)?.... Mass
community involvement gets you points.  Firing the staff in favor of
automation gets you nowhere (except in limited cases if automation is
used wisely, after hours)
