WPIX-TV New York simulcast its annual "Yule Log" Christmas music program
over WPIX-FM. The radio listeners missed the four- or five-hour shot of
a fireplace. (I recall WSBK's Dana Hersey and Dan Berkery spoofing this
on "Ask the Manager," using a pencil and a cigarette lighter.)

More recently, WNEZ New Britain, CT, used to simulcast the 6:00 news
from WVIT Channel 30. This stopped when WNEZ went Spanish.
