Some nice person commented:
The Church owns its own radio stations in many countries (Vatican Radio
is
probably the best known). I believe WWL in New Orleans, for example, was
owned for many years by a Catholic university.
WWL, both radio and TV, were owned by Loyola University (and the Jesuits)
before the current ownership. TV was owned for a while by the employees
before they sold to A.H. Belo Corp. of Dallas. Sinclair Broadcasting
owns WWL radio now.
Hollie, New Orleans. (hi, everyone!)
