New York City has a larger population of Jews than the State of Israel.  I
don't know where Boston ranks, but I did hear, about 20 years ago, that
the Congressional district then represented by Father Robert Drinan and
including Brookline and Newton had the largest Jewish bloc vote outside
New York.
