NERW Update 8/1: New Calls for UPN 35

*When Channel 35 in Lewiston/Portland ME signs on this afternoon at
5pm, it won't be with the WWLA calls that sat on the CP for years.

The new calls for "UPN35" will be WPME, according to the Portland 
Press-Herald -- but so far, the new calls aren't reflected in the FCC
database.  (WPME was last used as the calls for what's now WXGL (95.5)
Topsham ME).

Also signing on today is WFFF (Channel 44) Burlington; still looking for
someone up there who can roll videotape on that sign-on!
