I couldn't pick it up in Bedford, but I was aware of it as an FM station
back when I was in high school in the early 1960s. I remember seeing it
in White's Radio Log at that time. The call actually was WHSR-FM, which
may mean that there was an AM or carrier-current signal at an earlier
time.
