Tropo opening??

Hi everyone.

I'm listening to WINQ 97.7 in Winchendon now and within the last 30 
minutes theres been 3 fade outs and a CHR or rock station has come in 
loud and clear for a brief moment.  Any idea where that format would be 
coming from?  I know it's not south of here, as WCAV Brockton and WCTY 
in CT are country on 97.7

Must be tropo or sporadic e because I'm only about 12 miles from the 
WINQ transmitter site.

Any ideas??
