Well, _I_ looked at a map, and it looks to me like the maximum length
saltwater path ends right around Plymouth, near Manomet Point (and maybe 3-4
miles either way). Also relatively unobstructed by land is the very tip of
Cape Cod, on the North Shore of Provincetown.
