JFK Library

I was down at the JFK library this weekend and they have an exhibit that
"bothered" me.

The exhibit in question is a replica studio of the first Kennedy-Nixon
debate that orginiated at WBBM-TV in Chicago. As most of you know WBBM has
been a full blown CBS O&O since nearly day one of network television.

Part of the exhibit shows a camera that the library claims was one of the
cameras used during the debate. It is an RCA TK-31!

I can not fathom a CBS O&O having ANY RCA equipment in those days knowing
how Mssrs. Paley and Zarnoff got along so well. Knowing the history buffs
we have on this list, I am simply throwing this out as a research
question. Certainly the JFK people wouldn't know, but it doesn't seem
right to me.
