Maybe it's me, but I seem to like Mix 98.5 (WBMX) with its "new sound," so
to speak. It seems as if ARS has tweaked the sounds of both of its FMs to
compete better in the market and I like it. A lot of stuff from the 1980s
which used to get played on Mix is on The Eagle now and it seems to work
better. Besides, it's time that Kiss got some competition in this market
for a solid Top 40 format. Mix now almost reminds me of what WZOU was about
five years ago before their flip to an urban-dnace format. I'm sure Steve
Dodge was thinking somewhat along those lines too. Thoughts?
